This talk engages with a series of theatrical experiments that stage different AI language models.
It theorizes the inherently performative nature of AI and its alignment with the logic of the
capitalist spectacle, while exploring how theatrical play can subvert or displace this logic. The
talk seeks to contribute to critical discussions about the implications of AI in contemporary
culture and society, arguing that theatre and performance – both as analytical lenses and as
embodied practices – can add valuable insights to these discussions.
