Marc Zimmer, the Jean C. Tempel '65 Professor of Chemistry, explains how fluorescent proteins are solving medical mysteries and changing the world. An expert in computational chemistry, Zimmer also leads Connecticut College’s Science Leaders, a program to increase the number of women and underrepresented students graduating from the College with a degree and research experience in the sciences.
