REACH - Dance in the Arbo (Lisa Race)

Dance at CC, along with Theater, are proud to be among the first college departments to offer live performances amidst the pandemic. Associate Professor Lisa Race asked students to make movement phrases inspired by journal entries, which were responses to anti-racism readings. From this research, Race wove together a site-specific work for CC’s Arboretum, shared with the Connecticut College and New London community on a peaceful fall evening, as part of the Department of Dance’s Alternative Spaces Series.
